Abstract：The land gradation of small cities and towns, to which the technoligical standards and methods ar not geared, falls behind megaloplis and metropolis.The paper, in accordance with the characteristics of small cities and towns, advances some practical and scientific suggestions to method selection, work order and count technique, which contributes to improve the reliability of the land gradation of small cities and towns.
